| This monument was prepared and erected in 1971 to honor the deeds and to perpetuate the memory of the John and Nathaniel Austin families. The memorial is inscribed on all four sides. The south and north sides are of historical nature. The west side is dedicated to the names of the Nathaniel Austin family and the east side is dedicated to the names of the John Austin family. |
